Ports & Docks Overview
The Sunshine Coast Regional District is responsible for the operation and maintenance of nine (9) Ports and Docks located within the West Howe Sound and Halfmoon Bay Electoral Areas: Gambier Harbour, West Bay, Halkett Bay, Port Graves, Eastbourne, Keats Landing, Vaucroft, Halfmoon Bay and Hopkins Landing.

SCRD PORTS - GAMBIER HARBOUR DOCK UPDATE – OCTOBER 6, 2020
The Gambier Harbour dock shoreward main float was storm-damaged on September 25. SCRD continues to respond to storm damage at Gambier Harbour Dock.
Effective immediately, the float is open for loading/unloading only. No moorage is permitted at the current time due to the reduced size and temporary repairs in place. Please use caution on the float as surfaces may be slippery and how the float responds to waves, wake, etc. may have changed.
Alternate public docks are available at West Bay and New Brighton. An update will be provided when more information is available.

SCRD PORTS NOTICE OF WORK - Eastbourne Dock – September 15, 2020
The gangway and float at the Eastbourne Dock on Keats Island will be closed for repairs to the gangway on Tuesday September 15, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The Eastbourne dock gangway requires further repairs. The SCRD is working to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
Please watch your step at the bottom of the gangway and surrounding area on the float.

FLOAT MOORAGE REGULATIONS
Signs have recently been installed at all SCRD ports and dock facilites to indicate the float moorage regulations. The painted zones on the floats are designated as follows:
Red Zone: Temporary loading and un-loading permitted.
Yellow Zone: 24 hour maximum temporary moorage permitted.
White Zone: Reserved for emergency servcies, Search and Rescue, Coast Guard use only.
