Starting November 1, young people aged 13 to 18 who are attending secondary school can ride the bus for free.
In order to travel, you must first get an S-Pass which will be available starting on October 15.
Kids 12 and under can already travel free.
The 2025/2026 S-Pass is valid on SCRD conventional Transit buses between November 1, 2025 to October 31, 2026.
To get your S-Pass you must either have a valid SD46 Student ID or another government issued form of identification (like a passport or drivers licence).
To receive the S-Pass, visit any of the locations listed below during regular operating hours with your school or government issued I.D.
If you would like to keep the S-Pass on your smartphone, please download the Umo Mobility app prior to attending the locations above to activate your S-Pass.
If you already have an Umo card, please bring it with you and the S-Pass will be activated onto your existing card.
