Location: Follow Hwy 101 to Halfmoon Bay north of Sechelt. The trailhead is right on the Sunshine Coast Hwy. It is hard to spot. Look for the white trailhead sign.
Area: 18 hectares (45 acres)
Amenities: The Homesite Creek/Secret Cove Recreation Site is a 45 acre Provincial Recreation site managed by SCRD Parks. The area features beautiful trails and scenic waterfalls and connects with an extensive trail network. Home Site Creek is accessed off Hwy 101 in Halfmoon Bay.
Since June 2020, the Halfmoon Bay Environmental Society (HBES) helps maintain and operate Homesite Creek Recreation trails through a Memorandum of Understanding with the SCRD.
They are responsible for annual trail assessments, trail repairs/improvements, and installation and maintenance of signage.
HBES is a registered not-for-profit society and organization devoted to working to maintain a quality environment for the community of Halfmoon Bay.
