There are two ways to pay for drop-in activities. Either pick up a pass or pay a drop-in fee when you arrive. If you attend a lot of drop-in activities, a pass may save you money. Check out the information below for all the options we offer!
MYPASS is a non-refundable pass which includes admissions to most drop-in activities (excluding hockey) available at Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) facilities. View the MYPASS drop-in activities covered by the MYPASS.
MYPASS also includes locker tokens and lock rentals (where applicable) and and skate rentals. The MYPASS also includes a complimentary weight room orientation.
The MYPASS is available as an annual, monthly or 10 visit pass.
Children and youth who are active are more likely to continue being active in adulthood. We offer the Child and Youth (17 years and under) annual MYPASS at an affordable price!

MYPASS 10 visit is a discounted way to purchase admissions to our MYPASS drop-in activities: 10 drop-in admissions for the price of nine.
Some important things to know about your MYPASS 10 visit:

Monthly passes are valid for one month from the date of purchase and include unlimited admissions to MYPASS drop-in activities. They are non-refundable and expire one month from date of purchase.
The monthly MYPASS can be used only by the owner of the MYPASS. The pass cannot be shared with others.
You can set up automatic monthly renewals for your MYPASS from your credit card or bank account. Please ask at the front desk at Sechelt Aquatic Centre or Gibsons and Area Community Centre. If you would like to stop your automatic renewals, please email us or stop by our front desk at either of the facilities mentioned above.

There are many other pass options, some of which are specific to an SCRD facility.
The Trick or Treat Pass – as great way to give kids a healthy Halloween treat! Each Trick or Treat Pass is valid for one drop-in admission for children and youth aged 3 to 17 years.
The Trick or Treat Pass is available for sale from October 1 – 31.
The pass is valid from October 31 to January 4.
Use them for swimming, skating, squash or racquetball or weight room*. They also include skate rentals of racquet rentals if you need them. They can also be used to play table tennis or Pool at the Gibsons Community Centre.
*Age restrictions apply to the weight room. Youth must be a minimum of 13 years of age. 13 to 15 year olds must attend with an adult or complete an SCRD weight room orientation.
SCRD Recreation Trick or Treat Passes are available for purchase in October.
For ages 3 to 17 years.
$2 per pass.
Pender Harbour Swim and Gym includes admission to drop-in swims and weight room sessions at the Pender Harbour Aquatic & Fitness Centre. Available in a 10 visit or monthly, non-refundable pass.
This pass does NOT include admission to fitness (aquatic and dryland) classes. For admission to fitness classes, please purchase a MYPASS.
The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) operates a program to provide some help for those living on a low income to access recreation.
The program is called the ‘LIFE Program’. It stands for ‘Leisure Inclusion for Everyone.’ Being active is important to physical and mental health. Living on a low income can make this difficult. If you are living on a low income, we have some ways that may help you access recreation services.
The SCRD offers a number of recreation activities which are available for a drop-in fee. Admission to all of the activities below, with the exception of Hockey is included with a valid MYPASS.

A Third Party Practitioner (3PP) is a personal trainer or physiotherapist that has gone through an approval process to use SCRD recreation facilities to train clients. Click here to learn more.
The approved 3PP pays either the 3PP drop-in fee or uses their 3PP 10 visit pass to use the SCRD facilities for each session to work with their client (up to two clients at the same time). The 3PP’s client(s) must also pay the facility drop-in fee or use their MYPASS when they access the facilities for their training session.
3PPs who use the SCRD facilities for more than one training session per day can purchase the subsequent sessions on that day for a reduced price.
