The camping season at Katherine Lake Campground begins on Friday, May 21 and ends on September 19.

Reservations can be made by calling 604-883-9557.

Due to COVID-19, campsite reservations are limited to residents of BC only until such a time that the current Public Health Order is revised to limit reservations only to residents within the Vancouver Coastal Health Region and the Fraser Health Region.

Please leave a detailed message and the campground caretakers will call you back in the order of received calls.

There is a maximum of five registered campers per campsite and a maximum of 10 people per household group in all public areas within Katherine Lake Park and Campground.

Public washrooms at the park are cleaned and disinfected, at a minimum on a daily basis. Sanitizing protocols are posted on all public campground facilities. Visitors to the area are advised to follow provincial health guidelines.

The Sunshine Coast Regional District is doing everything we can to ensure our parks are safe.

Katherine Lake is a popular swimming spot to enjoy for a day, or as part of a camping trip.

Location: North of Pender Harbour, turn left off Highway 101 onto Garden Bay Road. Continue 5.5 kms on Garden Bay Road. Katherine Lake sign post is on your right.

Area: 37.0 hectares (91.4 acres)

Amenities: Picnic facilities, sandy swimming beach, small playground, fishing, non-motorized boating, 26 RV spots and 10 campsites, washroom facilities with showers and an onsite caretaker.

Check in time: 2:00 p.m.

Check out time: 11:00 a.m.

The campground is suited for young families, we ask that you respect the peace and quiet of others and keep noise to a minimum at all times. Designated quiet time is 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Camping fees payable by Visa, MasterCard, debit, cash or cheque are payable at check in: $18.00 per night per party and $22.00 for an RV site.
