Service Interruptions
Effective immediately, the Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) is advising customers of the Eastbourne Water Service on Keats Island to boil their drinking water due to elevated levels of bacteria detected in the water.

These general precautions should be followed when there is a boil water advisory in effect.

Work has began to prepare for a new pedestrian bridge at Chaster House. Crews will be:
- Removing the damaged bridge supports.
- Improving habitat protection and climate resiliency along Chaster Creek.
- Preparing the site for the new pedestrian bridge.
Trail users can re-route along HWY 101 to trail access points north and south of the Vinebrook Bridge section of the trail.
