Backyard Burning
Back yard burning is NOT ALLOWED from April 16 to October 14 (inclusive) in Area E (Elphinstone) and F (West Howe Sound) areas within the Gibsons and District Fire Protection District. The Town of Gibsons does not allow backyard burning.

Please note that residents of the Sunshine Coast can drop off yard waste and prunings at the local landfills FREE of charge.
