The SCRD is accepting applications from Halfmoon Bay community members who are interested in volunteering on a task force to help guide the design of a new hall building. Terms of reference for task force can be found here.

Location: At the north end of Redrooffs Road in Halfmoon Bay.

Area: 3.6 hectares (9.0 acres)

Amenities: This popular waterfront park that looks across the Straight of Georgia has a large grassy treed area ideal for family picnics. During the summer you can play beach volleyball on the sandy court. The park also includes a barbeque pit, washroom facilities, swimming beach and a public recreational boat launch. It is also a popular location for divers.

The hall facility is wheel chair accessible with a full kitchen and a main hall and can accommodate up to 82 people. For hall rental information click here.

Please pay attention to tides when planning to launch your boat and park your vehicle and/or trailer in the designated area only. Vehicles parked improperly create a hazard to others and will be towed.

The SCRD initiated the Coopers Green Park Management Plan project to provide a vision and goals for the park as well as identify management policies and actions.
