Green Waste

There are new volume and weight limits at sites that will determine whether a load is free or not.

Where there is a scale, the weight of the load will determine. Loads less than 0.5 tonnes are free.

At sites where there is no scale, the volume will decide and limit use of the site. See each site below for restrictions.

Visit our Disposal Fees page for details about the categories.

Note: if using a truck and trailer, if the total between the truck bed and trailer exceeds 4 cubic meters or 141 cubic feet, it will not be allowed at the South Coast site. An example of what is allowed would be a pick up truck with 6ft box that is filled 2ft high and 4ft wide could have a trailer that is similar in size, since 6ft multiplied by 2ft multiplied by 4ft is equal to 48 cubic feet, and doubled is 96 cubic ft which is approximately 3 cubic meters. However, an 8ft pick up truck box, filled 4ft high and is 4ft wide is about 130 cubic feet (3.7 cubic metres) and would leave little to no room in a trailer for more material.
