Location
These Halfmoon Bay parks are reached by turning left on Redrooffs Road from Hwy. 101, approximately 10 minutes driving north of Sechelt. Drive along Redrooffs Road until you reach Southwood Road. Turn right on Southwood, turn left on Westwood Road and then turn left at the dead-end.

Large grass playfield, two baseball diamonds, playground, washrooms, bike skills area (maintained by the local Sprockids organization), extensive biking and hiking trails.

ch’emalaḵ
In 2017 shishalh Nation Elders Language group and the SCRD began a project to provide and/or translate SCRD park names into the shashishalhem (Sechelt language). Connor Park is translated as ch’emalaḵ.
Pronunciation: ch’ is like ch, but with a throat catch. The e sounds like the i in English ‘him’. k is pronounced like k in English but farther back in the mouth. All syllables have strong stress.
The name ch’emalaḵ was chosen by the shishalh Elders Language Group because of the cold winds experienced by users at the park
