The annual pool maintenance closure will take place starting Monday, July 1 to Sunday July 21, re-opening on Monday, July 22. The water will be drained from the pools and wet areas so that the maintenance work can be completed. Here’s what you can expect during this time:

• The entire facility will be closed.
• Sechelt and Pender Harbour pools will be open during this time. (Except July 1, when facilities are closed for the Canada Day statutory holiday).

Pools require annual maintenance to extend the life of the facilities and to minimize unexpected closures. We schedule planned, temporary closures of the pools and wet areas to complete this work each year. The annual maintenance closures at SCRD pools are scheduled so that only one pool is closed while the other two pools are open and available.
