Cove Cay Water System
The Cove Cay Water System is located in the community of Earls Cove in Pender Harbour, home of the BC Ferries terminal to Powell River. This system provides water to many of the residents of Earls Cove.
Cove Cay is an independent system which is operated and maintained by the SCRD. The Cove Cay Reservoir has a capacity of 390,000 litres. Ruby Lake is the source for the system's water supply. The monthly water demand for the system fluctuates dramatically, varying from 114,000 - 2.78 million litres.
