SCRD Hall Rentals
The Sunshine Coast Regional District has a number of halls available for rental throughout the Regional District.

Chaster House

Hall and washroom are wheelchair accessible.
Chaster House is situated on the waterfront in Bonniebrook with a beautiful view of Georgia Strait. A large grassy area surrounds the home. Beach is accessible from the hall. Inside are hardwood floors and a fireplace. (Firewood provided in the garage). Parking is limited - if possible try to carpool and please make sure the roadways are not blocked when parking at Chaster House.
Hall Capacity:
30 people for weddings. 30 people for events with alcohol, 30 people for events going past 10:00 pm.
60 people for meetings and seminars.
Inventory: 20 tables, 50 chairs (some in garage), First Aid Kit & Fire Extinguisher
Kitchen with fridge, stove and sink. The kitchen is not wheelchair accessible.
Fireplace (Wood in garage, please no beach wood in the fireplace), picnic table and BBQ outside. Please note: there are no outside electrical outlets. If you plug an extension chord in the lobby to run something outside, it usually blows the breaker.

Eric Cardinall Hall

Eric Cardinall Hall is located right next to the grassy playing fields at Shirely Macey Park with a view of Soames Hill. Hall size: 600 square feet.
Hall capacity: 82 people with tables and chairs, 106 people - standing room only.
Inventory: 10 tables, 40 stacking chairs. Kitchen with fridge, stove and sink. (No kettles, utensils, pots/pans at the hall, please make sure to bring these if needed for your event)

Coopers Green
5500 Fisherman Road, Halfmoon Bay

Coopers Green is located on a large grassy, treed area by the ocean with a beautiful view of Halfmoon Bay. There is a public boat launch near the hall. There is a BBQ pit on the grounds, a swimming beach and a sandy volleyball pit. Hall size: 960 square feet.
Hall Capacity: 82 people
Inventory: 13 folding tables, 2 wooden tables, 87 chairs, Fire extinguisher, Kitchen with fridge, stove and sink. Fireplace (no beach wood in fireplace), black board. Outside: Picnic Tables, Horseshoe Pitches, Volleyball, Boat Launch.
Grantham's Hall

Hall size: 920 square feet.
Hall Rental Fees & Damage Deposit
Hall Rentals (includes HST): $12 / hour
Non-profit organization Hall Rentals: $6 / hour. To be eligible for the non-profit rate, please provide us with the society number for your organization.
All hall reservations are subject to a $150 refundable damage deposit due at the time of booking.
How do I book an SCRD Hall?
Over the phone by calling 604 885-6801. Please have your credit card ready.
In Person at either Sechelt Aquatic Centre or Gibsons & Area Community Centre. We accept cash, cheque, debit card and credit card.
Hall rental fees and damage deposit are due at the time of reservation. Bookings are not confirmed until rental fees and damage deposit is paid in full.
Hall Cancellations and Refunds
Please allow 2 weeks notice of cancellation for your booking to receive full refund of rental fees. Refunds of rental fees will not be given with less than 2 weeks notice. Damage Deposit is fully refunded with all cancellations.
