Water Sources and Usage
The Sunshine Coast Regional District utilizes several sources of water to supply potable water to residents across the coast. Chapman Creek, Gray Creek, and the Chaster Well provide water to residents from Secret Cove to Gibsons. The Langdale and Soames Point areas are supplied water by two separate wells. The North Pender Water Service Area is supplied by Garden Bay and Hotel Lakes. A small system in Earl's Cove is provided water from Ruby Lake. The Madeira Park and Francis Peninsula areas in South Pender Harbour are serviced from Haslam Creek. The Eastbourne area on Keats Island is serviced water from groundwater wells.
