Sprinkling Regulations

Sprinkling Regulations are in effect throughout the year. Water use per person can more than double during the dry summer months. The use of sprinklers accounts for the largest volume of water consumed during this period. Sprinkling times are designated to ensure a reliable supply of water for household use and for fire protection. If water consumption is too high, sprinkling times may be reduced or cancelled, as outlined in our Drought Management Plan.
WHAT IF I AM NOT AT HOME DURING MY DESIGNATED WATERING DAY?
Most lawns need about 25mm (1 inch) of water per week, including rainfall, which can be easily applied on just one of your sprinkling days.
