Q: Is there a charge to locate my water shut off at the property line?
A: There is no charge for this service. This is the property of the SCRD and it is important for us to have instant access to any shut off.
Q: How can I find the waterline on my property?
A: The SCRD does not do any work on private property. We can provide information regarding the water line up to the property line but have no record of the waterline on your property.
Q: Why does my water appear milky or look like alka seltzer?
A: This is due to trapped air and is sometimes caused by a water shut down or use of a fire hydrant in your area. The problem can be alleviated by running your water to flush the pipes.
