Who We Are

The Gibsons Youth Centre is located in the Gibsons and Area Community Centre and is operated through a partnership between the Sunshine Coast Regional District Recreation Division and the Gibsons Landing Community Society. The Youth Centre provides drop-in recreation based programming for youth ages 13 to 18 years old. The Centre is supervised by youth workers, who ensure a safe, fun, inclusive, and positive environment where youth can thrive, flourish and achieve. The Youth Centre and all its programs and activities are always drug, alcohol and tobacco free.

Our Mission

The Gibsons Youth Centre's mission is to provide a safe and positive environment where youth 13 to 18 years old are able to relax, socialize and participate in active, healthy programs and activities, free of charge. CLICK HERE to find out how we achieve our mission.

The Youth Centre is located in the Gibsons & Area Community Centre at 700 Park Road in Gibsons.

Our Programs

The Youth Centre offers teens a variety of programs and activities that are educational, interactive, fun and safe.

Sports Night Drop-In at Elphinstone Secondary School

Instructor-In-Training program for Youth ages 13 - 15 years.
Register for this program, which includes volunteer time in the Coastal Kids Summer Daycamps. This program is eligible as volunteer hours for HACE Portfolio. Register online or call 604-885-6801.
