Toilet Programs
**Available to SCRD residential and commercial water customers**
The Sunshine Coast Regional District has TWO water conservation programs regarding toilets. The first is the BATHROOM FIXTURE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM, and the second is the TOILET REBATE PROGRAM. Please read on.
1. Bathroom Fixture Replacement Program (for Pender Harbour water customers)
The Bathroom Fixture Replacement Program is for residents who would like our installer to do the work - AT NO COST! The entire region has been offered this program for a number of years, and as we wind the program down, this option is only available to Pender Harbour water customers.

How Does It Work?
• To register for the program just email us at lowflow@scrd.ca Please ensure you give your name, street address, telephone number and number of bathrooms to be changed out (maximum 2). You can also apply by telephone - just call 604-885-6806 or 604-885-6877. A qualified installer will get in touch with you to schedule a time to conduct the installations.
• You don't pay anything up front…or ever! (Under the rebate program you must purchase your new toilet and pay for installation before you can receive your rebate.)
What Do You Get?
The free package, which has a retail value of approximately $500 per bathroom, and is available for up to two bathrooms per household, includes:
• A water efficient dual flush toilet
(vailable in white or biscuit)
• A high efficiency shower head and faucet aerator
• Installation by a qualified professional*
• Removal and disposal of your old toilet(s)
If you prefer, you may opt to have one of Caroma's other dual flush toilet models installed for an additional charge. You can call Sustainable Solutions toll free at 1-800-460-7019 for further product information.
* Please note that the free installation allows for standard installation time only. Unforeseen problems such as rotting floorboards or substandard plumbing fittings that may require further work are not covered under the free installation.
2. Toilet Rebate Program
FOR ALL SUNSHINE COAST REGIONAL DISTRICT WATER CUSTOMERS
The truth is that no one can tell how well a toilet flushes just by looks or cost. The best independent and objective way to measure flush performance is the MaP – or Maximum Performance – test. MAP testing recognizes High Efficiency Toilets (HET) as the best option, to conserve water.

**For customers who have already completed the Toilet Rebate Program, an old shower head can be exchanged for a new water efficient shower head at our Field Road office, over the counter. Limit 2 per residence.
