Transit Service Announcements

The Sunshine Coast Regional District provides service announcements to our customers via Twitter and our 24 hour phone line. Information on service disruptions will be provided via these channels as required.

Please note that as of January 19, 2011 the routing through the lower Gibsons Loop will be revised to delete the section via South Fletcher and Winn Road. Buses will now route from Franklin via Gower Point Road, right on Gower Point Road and then left on Gower Point Road.

Lost and Found

If you lose an item on the bus, call us at 604-885-6899.
When you call, please provide the following information:
· Day, time and direction of travel
· Location on the bus where you were seated (e.g. driver's side near rear doors)
· Description of the lost item
In some cases we may be able to contact the driver immediately to advise them to look for the item at the next available opportunity.
Information on lost items is retained in our records in the event that the item is found in the future.
Found items are kept for a period of three (3) months only.

Bike Rack Use

The full-size buses operating between Sechelt and Gibsons/Langdale are equipped with bike racks for use throughout the service day.
Bike racks are also available on the minibuses serving the West Sechelt, the Sechelt Arena and Halfmoon Bay routes during daylight hours only.
Use of the bike rack for boarding or alighting is limited to stops that have a bike rack sticker and been designated for bike rack use. Please look for the bike rack sticker on the bus stop sign or ask the driver.

Bike Lockers

The SCRD has installed bike lockers at various locations that are available for long term rental. Under this program you can rent the locker and have exclusive access to it to store your bicycle and other belongings. This can allow you to use your bike for a portion of your trip and transfer to the bus for the remainder. Click here for more details bike lockers.

Pets on Board

There is a provision for taking Pets onto the bus under certain conditions.
