It's important that children get an early start in developing their motor skills. Providing your child with a wide variety of opportunities to be active will help them develop the foundations of physical literacy.

What is Physical Literacy?
Physical literacy is the motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding to value and take responsibility for engagement in physical activities for life.

Parent and Tot Family Resource Centre Drop In
For parents and caregivers with children birth to 6. Bring your child to play and meet other parents and children. Sunshine Coast Community Services friendly, trained and experienced staff are always available to support parents with any child development or parenting concerns.

Bellies and Babies Drop In
For pregnant women and new moms: an opportunity to meet, share stories, talk with Sunshine Coast Community Services staff and get information on pregnancy, birthing, postpartum, nutrition as well as learn about other community services. A free delicious and nutritious hot lunch is served and recipes provided.
