What is Physical Literacy?
Physical literacy is the motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding to value and take responsibility for engagement in physical activities for life.

Swim Lessons*
*If your child is enrolled in swim lessons, they may stay and swim in the pool after the lesson is over for no extra charge. Family members wishing to join them can pay drop-in admission or use their My Pass. Children under 7 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult in the pool outside of swim lessons.

Preschool Parented: Ages 4 months - 3 years

$3.75 / hour, $2 / hour for each additional child
Enjoy some time for yourself while your child is in the care of trained YMCA staff. Ages 6 weeks to 9 years

Parent and Tot Family Resource Centre Drop In

For parents and caregivers with children birth to 6. Bring your child to play and meet other parents and children. Sunshine Coast Community Services friendly, trained and experience staff are always available to support parents with any child development or parenting concerns.

Bellies and Babies Drop In
For pregnant women and new moms: an opportunity to meet, share stories, talk with Sunshine Coast Community Services staff and get information on pregnancy, birthing, postpartum, nutrition and well as learn about other community services. A free delicious and nutritious hot lunch is served and recipes provided.

Preschool Drop In Gym Play & Pool
$2, includes both caregiver/parent and child.
Parents and tots can enjoy positive play experiences in both the gym and pool. The gym will be set up with activities and the pool will have lots of toys available to have fun. Parent supervision required as this is not an Instructed program. Ages 4 months - 5 years
