Aquafit: Deep water and Shallow
Experience the magical properties of the water and get a great workout! Aqua classes should not be mistaken as "easy". Water is very suitable for all fitness levels, young and old. Whether you are coming back from an injury or are looking for an environment that surrounds you, literally, with resistance. Cardio-muscular training that is gentle on the joints, even under heavy strain. Stengthen, build up and limber up! You are welcome to do this class in the shallow water, no swim skills necessary. For deep water, participants should be able to tread water even though a flotation belt is worn during the workout.
This class is specifically designed for those who have joint and mobility issues such as arthritis, fybromyalgia, joint injuries. This is a more gentle paced class that allows for gentle movements to increase joint action, muscle strength and range of motion.
Keep training and getting stronger by taking your running workout to the pool. No impact on joints as the program is held in deep water with the use of a floatation belt. A great way to cross train with little risk of injury. Experience specific Water Running/Jogging workout formats designed to enhance your training and physical fitness. Custom design training formats to meet the needs of a wide spectrum of participants: from marathon runners to tri-athletes to recreational runners to first time runners. An excellent choice for cross training.
