Advisory Committee's

The Sunshine Coast Regionl District Parks and Recreation Department work with the following Advisory Committees:

Recreation & Parks Services Advisory Committee

Dakota Ridge Advisory Committee

Aquatic Advisory Committee

Ice Users Advisory Committee

The roles of these advisory committees are:

• to serve the interest and needs of citizens and user groups across the entire region;
• to provide input to staff, hear delegations from citizens and user groups, and when required, advise the Community Services Standding Committee on policy issues and plans;
• to provide advice on meeting both social and physical need of residents of all ages.
